元禄初年（1688年）創業。土佐藩の御用を賜っていたお菓子を今も作り続けています。噛みしめれば滋味の広がる『元祖ケンピ』、紫蘇の香る餅菓子『梅不し』といった伝統のお菓子はもちろん、マシュマロと黄味餡を包んだ最中『長尾鶏の玉子』や、土佐特産の小夏をチョコ饅頭に忍ばせた『龍馬物語』等、高知らしい新たな味わいにも挑戦しています。
